Its already Sunday – the end of Half term! where did all the time vanish to?

5 more weeks and I’ll be home. Sounds too good to be true! damn. I just counted. Its 6. Oh wells…

I went to manchester and scarborough to visit people. shopped a lil too much (in fact not really, cos I only bought a shirt, and 4 pairs of shoes.) And went to london again yesterday!

Lewis was DAMN lame! He suggested to the waitress that they should call their restaurant ‘Gourmet Burger King’ or ‘Great Burger King’ or ‘Genuine Burger King’. The waitress just nodded and tried to look interested! ahaha… but I still miss Grill’d! Mighty Melbourne yo!

We shared two burgers among three people so they cut it in half for us. I preferred the beef one but Flora said she liked the lamb one more. sigh.. all these lamb people (hint:eve)

And a salad because we are healthy!

Manchester was mainly about eating I guess!! Gained weight!! Yeahhh I can totally hear that thought in your head. “riiight, like she is not fat enough”

Then London yesterday! After lunch Alice and Tracy wanted to go shopping, Oxford Street. But I was broke and I didnt feel like shopping! So I went to Rendezvous for sugarfree cappuccino Ice cream, then I went to watch happy Potter and the Half Blood Prince. yes i am THAT outdated! It was nice I guess…. I dont really ask for much when I watch movies so I cant see why youre frowning in disgust then I said it was ok.

Then I went for forzen Yoghurt! hahaha… talk about eating. Walked around and met up with Alice and Tracy again in Chinatown.

I think I have reached a stage where I am SO sick of complaints! Why do you have to complain about everything? Food too cold, food not nice, too little people, too many people, train too early, ticket too expensive, line too long, shop too crowded, other branch too far, this branch have to wait too long, like seriously EVERYTHING you do you can find a thing to complain about!! Not gonna mention any names, but yeahh!

And I woke up this morning. someone nudged me on MSN. she said “Oh thank god you’re online! Are you there?”

I thought, wow… emergency issit? Then she said,

Enough rants. sometimes I complain too much. but about relevant things, so it makes sense.

The titles of my posts are getting pathetic-er by the posts, dontcha think?

I have a practice biology ISA test tomorrow, but dont we all start to blog when that test or exam is coming up?

I’ve read through my notes, so fingers crossed it’ll go well!!

Its almost half term! Plan is to go to Scarborough to visit Helen for a day or two, then down to Manchester, to see Flora and Lewis, and then come back to Northampton for a few days, and finally got to Bristol to visit jenno.

Hopefully my workload will not be that heavy!!

I still got UCAS applications!! i cant make up my mind where I should apply for the remaining two unis!! Dont ask me to apply for LSE because I dont even feel like going there so why waste a choice? I dont have confidence in myself. I’ve always believed that I was born with average IQ. Never dared to dream so far. I’m applying for Warwick already so shut up!  What if I dont get the required grades? What if they dont accept me? What if I am not good enough? It always sounds easy doesnt it. Its also easy to say, isnt it? “study hard yeah, its a once in a lifetime chance and you’ll regret it if you dont do well. Only 3 months ma, time will pass fast! Its not like that. Its not fast when you’re here, its not easy when its YOU who’s studying, if only life was as simple. Sighh…

last saturday on the way to badminton, they were setting off a hot air balloon! I remember een saying she wanted to go on a hot air balloon! You guys should all come here to northampton and we shall go up up up!

I am tired, I am exhausted!

Today has not been a good day. Cant say it has been a bad day, but it just wasnt good!

Kay, the plan was to go to oxford for the day, for visiting. So we bought couach tickets online for 8.30am.

This morning, woke up, got ready, and called the taxi by 8.05am. “alright a taxi will be on its way”

wait …. 8.10. wait…. 8.15… so we called back. “your taxi is on its way”

wait….. 8.20. wait…. 8.25. Friend asked me to call another taxi company. “alright, a taxi will be there in 5 mins”

And guess which taxi came first! the second company we called. BAD SERVICE OR NOT!!

In the end, we missed our coach, by just a few mins. So we decided to go to London instead! So we bought a group ticket, return that includes underground fares. costed 15 pounds.

Arrived London, went shopping, all was well. We had La Tasca for lunch. Waited 1 hour plus for the paella! which in the end turned out quite bland, but its ok cos we ordered 2 and they didnt charge us for 1 of em.

Had frozen yoghurt =D and walked around covent garden.

Then we walked all the way to primark. My feet were hurting badly. Anyways…. after primark, I realised, I LOST MY TRAIN TICKET. This means, no ticket to get back to northampton, and no ticket for underground! Ended up using my oyster, AND buying another ticket back. means another 15 pounds, yes even for single journey.

I also made my railcard. And I wanted to pay with my debit card. Guess what, they dont accept solos. So I had to use my credit card!

And now, I am home! I’ve got bags everywhere! the heaters arent working (but I’m fine!) I am exhausted, my laundry basket is full BUT I have no mood to do it at all cos the last time I did it, it rained and I had to dry it inside and after 2 days it was still sightly damp!

And the family is coming back tomorrow means they will have lots of laundry. sigh. I better get to sleep. wake up early tomorrow to do laundry. And make soup (hopefully)

Seeing all of you update makes me feel guilty about not updating. Taking but not giving!

BUT! I have nothing to update about lah. no pictures, no nothing, but homework.

I dont go to the gym, so I have no gym news to talk about, I dont go to the casinos (and plus casino here not as imba as crowns) so I dont have casinos to talk about, I dont watch nor listen to korean drama, so I have no korean dramas to talk about! All I do is homework but I dont think you’ll wanna hear about that.

Lets talk about my psychology tests. Totally screwed with one. “describe the study carried out by schaffer and rutter with relation to attachment and seperation.”

First thought.  “Whatttttt?”

Second thought. “uhh what to write what to write”

in the end I just wrote “I dont know what to write” at the end of the paragraph.

Gossip Girl is out! and guess what! I havent even finished season 2! So is greys and private practice, and Desperate Housewives, and guess what, I dont have time for all that!

Got Statistics and maths test tomorrow, field trip on thursday and micro+macro economics and biology tests on friday!

Maybe thursday will provide me something to blog about. but I doubt it.

Sunday afternoon, its nice and sunny, perfect weather for sleeping, dont you agree?

I woke up earlier than I was supposed to. Had the wierdest dream, ever, more about that. I set my alarm to 9, and woke up at around 845 ish. Felt a really heavy heart. I guess I just miss home, I miss my big bed where I can wake up, roll over and sleep again, in my big white and pink comforter with butterflies. You know that feeling youll get nowhere else but home.

I couldnt shed a tear for some reason. I wanted to, but I couldnt. Thats when you know life sucks. I miss home, so very much.

About the dream. Gosh was it wierd!

Guess who was in it! Wang Lee Hom!!! And some other hot singers but i totally forgot who! I remember F4 was there.

And the funnier thing is, they were all at my house, in Miri! And our house in miri was getting extended, like under renovation and it didnt look one bit like it is now!! So anyway, I wasnt dressed really nice, and suddenly all of them came, and I was in UTTER SHOCK.

I told mum I was gonna change ( because I wanted a picture in everyone and how on earth could I look ugly when I had the chance to dress up!!) and told her “if they wanna leave you better not let them leave yeah!!”

So I ran to my room, but then when I was running, I saw wang lee hom, and thought “uhh.. too ugly” and ran back again to take another route.

So I went to my room. I wanted to change. For some reason I wanted to wear tights. So I pulled out myself a pair of black tights from the drawer. Pulled it up my leg, and *psss* it broke!!

I was SO SO depressed (talk about being stressed, even in a dream!! with wang lee hom init! its supposed to be a sweet dream!)so I took it off, and grabbed another pair. Pulled it up, and *pssss* it broke again!! Being really sad, I woke up, realising I missed home so much. If it were on my own bed I’d just roll onto the cold side of the bed and continue sleeping.

It was different. I couldnt roll, there was no cold side, and I couldnt sleep anymore.

woke up, got dressed, and went out.=((

Anyway, off to homework. I know, on a sunday!!! Miss you babes, and guys! Selamat Hari Raya loves!

I am supposed to be doing my homework now, finishing off those few questions that need handing in tomorrow. I am drop dead tired, I bet its the jetlag kicking in. I felt so tired in class, to even keep my eyes open was a struggle!

I am so stressed out! I havent dont my personal statement! I havent started researching about anything, I have NO idea what accounting is about, my room is in a mess with books everywhere, my eyes hurt awfully, Helen has left for Hull, and I am all messed up! I know. What a way to start huh!

Settled into the host family already, they are a really nice family, being really friendly and hospitable, doing all their best to make me feel at home. Mrs Parker lets me use her dishes, her shampoos, her washing machine, her microwave, her everything!

I come home every afternoon to open the back door so that Stan, their huge black dog can go out for a little walk in the backyard! Both mr and mrs parker are teachers so they and the two kids will be out of the house for the whole day, which means I have a lil privacy during lunch, which is a good thing I guess.

Its right opposite the school which means coming home is but a 1 minute walk across the street, which is kinda nice.

I fear of gaining weight. Only here for 2 days and I can so totally feel the weight in me. No, I havent been eating much!! Like usually for lunch, I have a sandwich, soup, and a salad, and fruits. Yeah talk about that appetite. But after I came, I had a soup and half a sandwich.

I guess its just the beginning. I dont know why my appetite is so good when I am here. Sadness..

ok.. my eyes are really tired. I better start with that homework. My desk is a mess.. Never knew life was so hard.

I’ll try to take some pictures and post them when I have time, when I am not jetlagged anymore!

Edit: I just realised I didnt post this!! I went basic necessity shopping today!! I totally regret buying paper and notebooks in WH Smith. It was a total rip off!! Reminder to self, never buy from WH Smith again! instead, go to Sainsbury’s!!!  OK I am starting to sound like an auntie! off to copy my econs notes now!

Jenny’s leaving on the 20th and according to her, she’s all packed! besides her underwear and her pillow (smelly one) and her face wash. Why is it that easy for her? Memang prepare early!

Anyway, I’m so in the mood to blog right now. I just e-mailed Mr. O’Hare to ask about my accomodation. I got what I wanted. Thats why u see this big =D smile!

I made yam puffs today!! I had NO idea that cutting yam makes ur hands itchy! Suffered quite a lot after that. And the process is hard! I totally appriciate Yam Puffs more now. LOL!

And mum made black bean soup today! My love. But she didnt put enough beans and there were so little beans! D=

So many people are going to UK this year!! And they are all starating Uni! D=

I know, I’m 19 and still doing A levels. As much asI say I dont mind, I really do mind actually. Daryll’s already halfway through, and I’m not even in Uni yet. Thats why its crucial that I sort out my subjects this instant. MRS CARTER REPLY MY EMAIL!!!

Anyway, finally back from all the Aussie! Going for a final trip to Mulu on Friday, then in less than a week I’ll be flying back to London, to take a coach/taxi back to Northampton and study. Boo =((( Doesnt life suck.

Perth, Perth, Perth! Perth is pretty much like a cold, bigger, more civillised version of Miri! Life is most certainly laid back as it is here.

We spent a few days to go down south to Albany, sceneries, sceneries and more sceneries, not to mention strong strong winds and lots of rain. The skies cleared up towards the end of the trip, but it was still freeezing at night.

I made carrot cake yesterday, and chocolate cake and deep chocolate cheesecake today, the chocolate cake was sugar free and turned out awesome. The cheesecake, EPIC FAIL!! I am such a failure.

In fact, I have lots to do. Eve’s house is in a mess cos of the boxes and my suitcases lying around the living room, the kitchen is sorta in a mess cos of my attempt to make bagua last night (though I dont know if it is a success or not cos I cannot eat and eve is on a detox so she wont eat it! but by the looks and smells of it, they should be good, or at least edible!) the dining table has all these letters and catalogues and stuff, I’m still trying to finish the food before we have to leave, etc.

Its been ages since I’ve posted a picture or two on my blog huh. It always amazes me how people can post tons of picture in a post, take xiaxue for example! she has tons of pictures in a post! I’ve tried once or twice, but when I felt like I already uploaded a lot of pictures, I look back and its only a mere 7 or 8 pictures. lol

One day aaron asked me how to use xanga. He said he remembered I used to have a xanga account. LOL. that was aaaages back! I went back to read it and realised how my writing has changed. well, cant blame me, I was only 15 then. I bet when I come back to read what I am writing now in 3 or 4 years, I would chuckle and say the same thing to myself, “so childish *rolls eyes*”

How was Holland? Holland was AWESOME! It definitely brought back memories we had there, memories we made there, and no doubt created more memories. We took a minicruise to Rotterdam, and from Rotterdam took a coach to Amsterdam, where we spent a day walking around, and in the evening, took a train down to Voorschoten to look for Uncle NK.

Amsterdam is a place best explored with a bicycle imo. Bicycles >humans/pedestrians > cars. There are Bicycle paths everywhere!! We didnt tho. We just started walking and walking and walking till we reached Chinatown and saw this restaurant and walked in to ask for dimsum. It tasted like shit. Then after dinner, we walked around and saw so many other nice big chinese restaurants. LOL…

So by evening, when my legs are gonna break, we took a train all the way down to Voorschoten, Uncle Nai Kwong’s little town. He brought us from the train station to his home. Nice and cosy house. It was neat,  and nicely decorated, and definitely cosy. Auntie was preparing dinner, so we went to shower and stuff, and came down for dinner. A proper home cooked meal in ages (few months lah, but still ages to me) !! An after dinner walk around the neighbourhood, saw wierd looking houses, nice apartments, Uncle Michael and Auntie Lee Lee’s place, fields of Lavender, canals, and all the nice things you could get. Went to sleep all ready for the next day, which was nothing much.

Auntie Khau Tze took us around, back to Leidschendam to see our old house!

We went to the market thingy.. I dont know how to spell it but its something like Hobbema, and we had fish! the type that we used to eat as a child! walked around looking at things, they had EVERYTHING there. Clothes, food, fruits, vegetables, nuts (and who could forget nuts in Holland. I couldnt find the one that we always went to, so didnt buy much fresh nuts. only the packed ones), antiques, bags, fish, meat, you name it they got it!

After that we went to Leidschenhaag to walk around.
