Okay, so after a kinda long hiatus, imma tell the world what I got for my birthday this year! yalah of course must show off show off a bit, if not you’ll have nothing bad to gossip about me. “You know that veron, man she’s such a show off.. get such lousy present still think so kesi like that. kesi meh? my birthday ah! my boyfriend buy me ROSES and white gold necklace ah!!”

Although I only got 5 things, I love all of em, and they all mean so much. The thought, the effort, the love filled in each and every one!
Had dinner with Uncle Ricky, and some of his contractors from china, and xiao liu was here, so it was sorta like a birthday/xiao liu is here/get together dinner on Tuesday, cos we have Badminton on wednesdays nights and dad would be in KL on thursday…
Uncle Ricky gave me a purddyy necklace with three different coloured stones. I <3!!

And on thursday morning,

Too pretty to be opened. Never have I received a present wrapped so nicely. Then the ribbon got taken off and its just a plain black box now. Inside was a scarf from Zara. hehe…
Then, when I was having a nap, mom said there was someone outside.

Dinner that night was lasagna made by me! Actually only I ate it, eve took a little bit and mom said she was on a diet. Haha…
And then when I was sleeping the next day, I got a call from Jack!
“I know you’re still asleep veron, I can hear it in your voice”
HAHAH… can tell mehhh?? I tried my best possible to make myself sound like I was still awake but he caught me anyway. he said he was on the way to my house. He wanted to drop something off.

p/p/p/s, i HAVE to release my inner Jakun-ness okay! THE SCHOOL IS GONNA HAVE A FREE TRIP TO ALTON TOWERS BEFORE CLASS STARTS. Yalah I know its only Alton Towers and many people have been there before but the point is, 1. I’m gonna study in the UK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and 2. I’ve never been there!!! When I got the e-mail from Kate from Bosworth, I ran to mom and told her. And eve said, “cheh, Concord had free trips to Alton Towers EVERY YEAR lah”. Must break people’s bubble wan! =.=” anyway, the best thing is, YEE PING IS GOING AS WELL! it feels so nice to know that there’ll be someone I know. We talked about it this morning and squeed over the phone. ok. Done jakun-ing.

…. Linguine Marinara, corn, buttery sugarfree cakes, nachos, chicken crispers from Chili’s, chee cheong fun from Pujut 3, lasagna, tempura, homemade cake, seaweed soup, etc. Looks like I crave fattening food, besides corn and seaweed.

Actually, to be honest I don’t feel as though my birthday is coming up. And so what if it coming up? You know the excitement and hype you get when its reaching? Yeah, I don’t feel that at all.
Maybe its cause after 17 years of having a birthday each year (yalah I know everybody knows that. Please give me that chance to sound intellectual and shuddup lah!) the feeling gets numb.
Or maybe its cause of the mood, the absence of that birthday mood where you feel like inviting everyone over and spending quality time and you feel so generous that you even bake a cake that you know no one will like and decorate the place with streamers and confetti and end up buying your friends and possibly strangers lunch/dinner.
Mom said the other day, “this year we’re just gonna get you a laptop and your birthday present will be gau dimmed”. And its not about the presents anymore!! I used to get SUPER excited about present, cause it was the only thing to look forward to, since I couldn’t have cake. Maybe I’ve been present shopping too much, and each time one gets so sick of walking round and round the mall with nothing in mind, he/she will just go “haiya just get anything lah” which makes it so meaningless..
Why get something if it’s just ‘anything’ rite? IMO anyway….
Eve left to some dance exercise thing w/o me. Obviously she didn’t want me to tag along, knowing her.
Bah… I feel like eating jagung. Cait, turn back time! And stop at the part where you had lots of jagung in your kitchen and I said “no, thanks!” to your grandma’s offer! And I wanna show u a picture. lemme load it first! Miss you! (and your fat)
Actually I don’t feel like writing at all, but I would have to do that sooner or later. And plus I need to find something to get my mind off things. (things that have been like shit lately)
Cait just left for Brunei to go back to Melbourne this morning. Actually when she’s not here I think my life is eat shit sleep. And the occasional going out. Leslie and Matthew left along with Cait, so means even more people are gone. Then Daryll will go back, and Kendrick and I will be left to ROT in Miri wtf.
Days passed in a blink of an eye, and the last time I saw Cait before I do again in the future (which Pigknowswhen that is) was at Jenny’s house. I’ve definitely had a fun time when you were back, all the eating, the teasing, the camwhoring, and the never ending laughter, about everything, to anything.
And now things are very rather complicated (haha, not in the Daryll-things-are-getting-more-complicated way though), issues and problems, dilemmas and argues, and a very very frustrated heart. I dont think words can explain how frustrated I feel right now. Somehow I just wish I were on the plane going to Melbourne with Cait right now. Fly me over!

Besides that, there’s nothing much from the fact that I’ve been eating SO much, and will be, farewells, occasional dinner, gatherings, BIRTHDAYS! *cough*
ok I must diet after all this is over.
